Two of the triangles cut with this die sew together to form a 2" finished half square triangle and match up with one 2 1/2" cut square. Easily make 8" blocks with 12 sewn half square triangles. This triangle die can also be used in combination with additional AccuQuilt GO! block dies that work together to create typical patchwork quilt blocks like the Pinwheel and Airplane blocks. •AQ Cutting Mat Required: GO! Cutting Mat, 10 in. x 10 in. (25.4 cm x 25.4 cm) How to Die Cut 2" Finished Half Square Triangles: For best cutting results, position fabric on the lengthwise grain (straight of grain) as it goes under the roller. Cut a 7" strip across the width of fabric. Fanfold into 8" widths. Place on selected blade and cut. Cut 60 half square triangles across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 300 half square triangles.
