A: No, The keyboard is not back lit.
A: Battery life is up to 7 hours. This will depend on how it is being used, ie: light internet browsing versus audio or video streaming.
Q: does it come in other colors
A: This particular model is only available in the blue as shown.
Q: Does this system come with Microsoft Office of any sort?
A: Office 365 comes preinstalled, but it is a trial version that is only good for 30 days. You have to subscribe or buy Office 365 after the trial period.
A: It does get warm so I use a cooling fan for it.
Q: Can 1tb hd be changed out with ssd?
A: You can install a 2.5" form SSD in place of the 1TB 2.5" SATA drive that comes with the system.
