The Airfix Quickbuild Brand New Tiger I Tank "German Army" Snap Together Model Kit (Skill 1) is a 1/35 scale painted plastic model that comes in a brand new box and includes 150 highly detailed parts. This officially licensed product features rolling tracks, detailed interior and exterior, and requires no glue or paint, as the pre-colored pieces simply snap together for easy assembly. The completed model measures approximately 9.5 inches in length, 3.5 inches in width, and 4.25 inches in height. Airfix Quickbuild models are designed as an introduction to modeling for ages 6 and up, allowing builders to create impressive models that can be decorated with the included self-adhesive stickers. Once built, the models are sturdy enough to be used as toys or displayed as accurate replicas, with no visible brick fittings. Each kit includes easy-to-follow color instructions, free-rolling wheels for cars and tanks, and display stands for all aircraft. The Tiger I tank, officially known as the Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger Ausf. E, was a German heavy tank that saw extensive action during World War II, introduced in 1942 and quickly becoming one of the most feared and respected tanks of the war due to its thick armor and powerful 88mm KwK 36 gun, capable of destroying enemy tanks at long range.
