ASUS - ProArt PX13 13" 3K OLED 2-in-1 Touch Screen Laptop - Copilot+ PC - AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 - 64GB RAM - 1TB SSD - Nano Black

It is not that it isn’t excellent, it is TERRIBLE! Day to day activities are impossible to be done in this laptop. Search about these issues- screen stuttering constantly at single digit RAM/CPU use, video playback issues (unable to use YouTube), speakers and USB-C port stop working after update, etc. Just take 2 seconds to search how common these problems are in the PX13. Unfortunately this laptop is completely useless as is, I will have to return it. Such a shame, had great potential. The AMD drivers are complete garbage and will f- everything up. Tried to update to see if the issues would be solved but it is not even able to do that, the screen gets stuck. Just run!

The device is great for my engineering works and runs Solid Works flawlessly, the Strix Halo SoC have been treating me well so far. It also play video games quite well, on par with a Desktop RTX 4060 from my experiences. Good thing about a single SOC is I could allocate any amount of memories for either RAM or GRAM within the 64GB of ram available, so a bit similar to Apple Silicon, but manually. And I do find the overall stability to be better and more smooth since the screen do not flashes when unplug or transition between different power modes compared to dedicated GPU laptops, Battery life is fair, and I'd say 100% a step up than last year's model, as I do find the Strix Halo chip to be way more power efficient, and when charging using USB C, so long as you uses balance mode, the laptop stays charged(Performance mode will cause the battery to slowly drain on this Strix Halo model). One particular thing I love about is cooling for this device, even under heavy load, the keyboard area stays cools to the touch(in performance mode), and you can even feel a breeze just slightly above the keyboard, very nice. WARNING: DO NOT attempt to update the graphics or chipset drivers as it will cause stability issues, such as a silent built in speaker or BSOD, but if you use the driver it come with, it is absolutely fine and runs everything well.

The Asus ProArt PX13 (Ryzen AI MAX 395+, 64GB RAM) is an absolute beast for local machine learning and content creation. I dual-boot Windows and Fedora Linux, and this compact laptop handles heavy workflows like a desktop workstation. Running local diffusion models (like z image turbo) via ComfyUI with Vulkan extensions, it cracks out high-resolution image generations under a minute. Zero cloud fees, total data privacy, and blistering speed. The 64GB of RAM gives massive headroom for heavy multitasking and large AI models. If you need ultimate, unthrottled performance in a highly mobile chassis, this is the pinnacle of edge computing. Highly recommended!

Better than an IPad. I bought it because I wanted the ram and storage and usability of an iPad and a computer all in one
