After upgrading from my Surface Pro 8 to the Asus ROG Flow Z13 3025, I couldn’t be happier. This device is everything I wanted in a gaming tablet PC—powerful, portable, and versatile—and it has completely exceeded my expectations. Performance & Gaming This machine handles everything I throw at it, from AAA gaming to productivity tasks, with ease. The combination of high-end specs and ROG’s cooling system ensures smooth gameplay without thermal throttling issues. Unlike the Surface Pro, I can now game on the go without taking another device. Portability & Build Quality Despite being a gaming PC, the Z13 remains thin, lightweight, and easy to carry—perfect for travel or work on the go. It keeps the flexibility of a tablet while packing serious performance, which makes it a dream device for Surface Pro users who want more power. Battery Life Battery life is the only weak point, but compared to other gaming laptops, it holds up just fine. My ROG Ally USB-C charger works perfectly with it, making quick top-ups easy. If you’re planning to use it away from an outlet for extended gaming sessions, a power bank or charger is a must. Availability & Price The biggest issue? Finding one! These things are never in stock. I got extremely lucky, checking the app during an early morning phone call, and managed to grab one. As for the price, some might complain, but when you compare it to a Surface Pro with 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD, it’s in the same range—except with way more gaming power. Great Performance & High Refresh Rate When Gaming
I’ve been using the ROG Flow Z13 for both gaming and everyday tasks, and it’s definitely impressive on the performance front. The hardware effortlessly handles modern games at high FPS, and the 180Hz display delivers super smooth visuals. The 2.5K touchscreen is vibrant and detailed, though I really wish it had an OLED display. When it comes to productivity, the 1TB SSD is nice, but at this price I would have expected even more storage. However, the biggest drawbacks are the battery life, which drains quickly when not plugged in, and the high price tag. If you’re looking for a powerful, compact gaming laptop with a responsive display and fast performance, this device is an excellent choice.
