Q: Can you share pictures in multiple pictures frames with family members in different homes.
A: Yes. You manage your pictures and your frames in the Aura app. My grandmother and my sister each have a frame and I can easily add pictures to both. During setup, the frame “owner” will need to invite you to add pictures. I have cousins all over the country and we are all able to add photos to our grandmother’s frame. Best gift we ever gave her because it keeps on giving.
Q: How many pictures do the frames hold
A: The frame itself doesn’t hold the pictures. They are stored in the Aura app, with unlimited storage capacity. The frame has to be connected to Wifi to show the pictures though.
Q: Does this frame have an on/off switch?
A: By default, your frame automatically adjusts to the brightness in the room, turning off when it's dark and on when it senses light. This setting is called "Auto" On & Off. To override this feature, you can schedule your frame to turn on and off at the same time everyday. You can also use the Touch Bar (on Mason, Sawyer, Smith and Carver models) to manually turn it off or simply pull the plug out of the bag since this will neither damage your frame nor lose any of your files.

A: No!
Q: Will this frame connect to a 5 gigahertz wifi network?
A: To connect your Aura frame you will require a 2.4 GHz WiFi network connection. The 2.4GHz standard is supported by 99% of home networks. Although the 5GHz (802.11 ac) frequency band is faster, Aura Frames use the 2.4GHz band because it is supported by almost all residential routers, consumes less power, penetrates obstructions and extends over a broader range. All of these benefits ensure that our frames operate more reliably in a variety of different environments and locations.
