Canon XXL 281 Magenta
Our Canon TR8520 printer was purchased May 2020 and uses 4 color & 1 black 281 plus 1 280 ink regular, XL & XXL cartridges. It's our first Canon printer. We've been experimenting with XXL size cartridges & so far seems to work just fine. BTW - We don't print in color for most of our printing. Ink prices are pretty high, so we're trying a "larger" size cartridge.

Lasts a long time
The xxl cartridge lasts twice as long as the standard size. They are a little pricey, so I apply reward points to reduce the price. I will buy this again.

Good as far as ink cartridges go
OK so the XXL cartridge is the way to go. These cartridges can be hard to find though. I rated it three stars because they are all so expensive and just don't last long but that is the same for all ink.

Does the job
Canon ink is perfect for my Canon printer. I prefer the XXL cartridge which is hard to find. Love that Best Buy has it. Shipping was delayed. Probably due to the virus but the dates kept changing for delivery. 5 stars for the product. 3 stars for delivery

What is the difference between the 281xxl vs 281xl? Are they both compatable with Canon pixma ts6220?
It can be explained in this example: Standard uses less ink because it contains less ink. An example would be that standard can print 100 pages per cartridge. The XL has up to 25 pct more ink and can print up to 25 pct more pages than Standard or 125 pages per cartridge. The XXL has 50-75 pct more ink and can print up to 3 times more pages than standard or 150-175 pages per cartridge.
