Q: How much ice does the bin hold? Does it require a drain?
A: The ice bin is very small. It says it holds 2 pounds, which is not much ice. It looks smaller than the bin in my fridge freezer ice maker. If you need ice for a party/cooler/beverage tub, You would have to constantly take it out of the bin and store it somewhere else while more ice is made. I can just buy a bag of ice if I have to do that.
