About this product
The SXE-3000.4D/RD is a 4-channel car amplifier from the DS18 SXE series, built as a Class D design. It delivers 2 x 500 watts RMS at 4 ohms, 4 x 320 watts RMS at 2 ohms and 4 x 200 watts RMS at 4 ohms. The channels are bridgeable, so you can combine them to drive a subwoofer or a pair of higher-power speakers from the same amplifier. Total harmonic distortion is rated at 0.05% with a signal-to-noise ratio of 90dB. A selectable HPF/FULL/LPF crossover covers 40HZ-2KHZ, so you can send each channel only the frequencies it should reproduce. Bass boost is adjustable from NO centered between N/A. Match the amplifier to the RMS rating of your speakers or subwoofers and set the gain to that rating for clean, reliable output.

Delivers 2 x 500 watts RMS at 4 ohms, 4 x 320 watts RMS at 2 ohms and 4 x 200 watts RMS at 4 ohms. Power scales as impedance drops, so check the rating at the impedance you plan to run before matching speakers.
Class D Car Amplifier Design
A Class D topology runs cooler and draws less current than a conventional amplifier at the same output, with rated efficiency of 88%. That means less strain on your electrical system and a smaller chassis for the same power.
Bridgeable Channels for a Subwoofer
Bridge the channels to combine their output and drive a subwoofer or a pair of higher-power speakers from the same amplifier, which lets one amp cover both your speakers and your bass instead of buying two.
Adjustable Crossover and Bass Boost
Onboard tuning includes a selectable HPF/FULL/LPF crossover covering 40HZ-2KHZ and bass boost adjustable from NO centered between N/A. Send each channel only the frequencies it should play and dial in the low end without adding an external processor.
Protection Circuitry and Cooling
Built with clipping, thermal, over-load and dc output protection, so the amplifier shuts itself down before a wiring fault, a short or overheating can damage it or your speakers. That is what keeps 4-channel amplifiers alive in daily-driven vehicles.
