Q: Besides number of prints what is the difference between this printer and the ET-4550?
A: The ET 4500 has WiFi Direct, Ethernet, Apple Airprint Google Cloud Print and Epson iPrint printer connectivity. It also has sheetfed scanning and automatic document feeder. The ET-4550 has double sided printing, faster printing at a higher resolution. It is also a slightly larger printer.
A: It doesn't have a straight through paper path which is ideal for thicker stock. It does, however, easily handle up to 10 envelopes at a time which are more flexible. Paper feeds at an angle approximately 60 degrees from being a flat 180 degree straight path. So if your stock can easily bend to about 120 degrees you should be okay.
Q: Does this model send faxes?
A: This item does send faxes.
Q: Height to top of paper in paper tray from bottom of base for printer
A: With 8-1/2 x 11 paper loaded in the rear paper tray, the measured height is 12-1/4 inches to the top edge of the paper.
A: This printer does not have a shelf for odd sized paper. There is a slider to adjust for various sizes of paper.
Q: Can you print on regular cardstock with this printer?
A: Yes, you can print on card stock.
A: Does not have an internal counter that I can find or see. However, I did purchase an additional warranty on the printer. My experience in the past has been when the product break down and it not repairable, is under warranty it's replaced at no charge to me. If it can be repaired then it will be repaired at no charged. Please keep in mind, you must keep the warranty current.
Q: does it work with windows 10?
A: Yes, this is compatible with Windows 7 and above, including Windows 10, XP, Vista aned Mac OS® X 10.6 – 10.10.x.
