Q: Can this mount be used without the base by screwing through the desk in grommet option?
A: It is not recommended to use the product without the base (even when using the grommet mounting option). Thanks!
Q: Can this be used for flat screen 40-43" flat screen. Vizio model D401 J09
A: Jenny, this mount will not work for that TV as it exceeds the limit for screen size and its VESA pattern is 200x100mm which is larger than what this mount supports.
