Can you use the GE opal mini pro with or without the side tank?
Answered by GE AnswersYes, this ice maker can be used with or without the side tank. It can be used in one of three ways. You can remove the ice bin and pour the water directly into the lower reservoir. You can remove the top cover and fill the lower reservoir using the water funnel. Or you can connect the side tank. For additional information, please refer to the Use and Care Manual on page 11. You can access the manual by visiting the product page, selecting the Features tab, and then navigating to the Manuals and Guides section.
