It is is certified to NSF International reduction of chlorine (taste and odor) and many contaminants, including 99% of lead, rust, sand, etc. For best filtration results, GLACIER FRESH RF9999 water filter should be replaced every 3 months or 200 gallons. It is compatible with all Pur Faucet Mount Filtration Systems.
