I just picked up the Pixel Watch 4 from Best Buy, and honestly, the hype is real. This feels like the model where Google finally nailed the fundamentals. The Good: Battery Life is a Game-Changer: This is the biggest win. I'm easily getting over two full days, which means I can actually track my sleep without the low-battery anxiety. And the fast charging is insane... a quick boost while I'm getting ready gets me back to 100%. Design & Display: The new domed, curved display is stunning. It feels high-end and is so bright (up to 3,000 nits!) that I have zero issues seeing it, even outdoors during events. The comfort is also fantastic; I barely notice it's on my wrist. Gemini Integration: Having Gemini AI right on my wrist for quick info or setting timers hands-free is super snappy and incredibly useful for managing my busy schedule. The Not-So-Bad: My only minor gripe is the proprietary charging cable (wish it was detachable USB-C!) and I’m a little worried about the long-term durability of that beautiful curved glass, so a screen protector might be a wise investment. Overall: If you're in the Android ecosystem, the Pixel Watch 4 is the best smartwatch available right now. It looks slick, performs fast, and the battery life finally makes it a reliable 24/7 companion.

I’ve been using the Google Pixel Watch 4 or about a week now, and honestly, it’s been a great experience overall. Like previous Pixel Watches I’ve owned it’s always nice to remember how comfortable they are — I’ve worn it through workdays, workouts, and even to bed one night, and it never felt bulky or irritating. This has quickly become my everyday watch, mostly because it just fits into my routine so well. My Pixel 10 Pro is my work phone, so I’m constantly getting Teams messages and calendar reminders. It’s nothing wildly different from other smartwatches I’ve used before, but where this one shines is in how easy it is to respond. The AI-powered quick replies feel natural and surprisingly smart — it saves me from having to pull out my phone in meetings or while walking between appointments. Responsiveness is another strong point. I haven’t noticed any lag at all. Swiping through the interface is smooth, and starting workouts is instant. I’ve mainly used it for elliptical and treadmill sessions, and I even tried tracking a basketball game at the gym the other day. There are tons of workout options to choose from, and the interface stays simple, which is especially helpful mid-workout when you don’t want to fumble through menus - a quick swipe left on the screen and I was into my workouts. The display looks fantastic — bright, crisp, and easy to read even outdoors. I really like the clean, circular design and simple crown. Compared to something like an Apple Watch, this one feels more like a “real” watch, especially when I use a more classic-looking watch face. I’ve already worn it out a couple times with dressier outfits and it fits right in. I do wish Google offered more band options — and switching the band isn’t super intuitive either. I think that’s just part of the trade-off with the round body and curved sides. Battery life has been amazing. I’ve easily gotten a full day and then some, and it charges quick enough that a short charge while I’m getting ready in the morning tops it off. For something this slim and lightweight, the battery performance really impressed me. I only tried sleep tracking once so far, but I was surprised to wake up with a sleep score already waiting for me. I didn’t have to start anything manually — it just tracked everything automatically. That’s a big plus for me. I plan to start wearing it nightly to get a better read on my sleep patterns, especially since I’ve been waking up feeling tired more often than not. Hopefully this gives me a clearer picture over time. As for voice and AI features, the “lift to ask Google” function has worked pretty well, though not perfectly. There was one moment where I asked for a sports score and got the right number but was told my team lost — even though they won. A little frustrating, but when I asked “Are you sure?” it corrected itself. Might be more of an AI thing than the watch itself, but worth mentioning. Overall, the Pixel Watch 4 is a classy looking and highly functional smartwatch that fits right into my day. It hasn’t blown me away with anything flashy — it just does what I need it to do, and does it well while looking pretty great.
