I have not ridden a very long distance but so far so good. It does all as described, smooth ride and easy to control, the only thing to keep in mind is after sustain the speed pushing the throttle, it gets into cruise mode and if you forgets can cause a crash.

This G6 scooter is a very showy scooter with all the lights built in. The blue pulsing light on the side of the scooter looks amazing at night. You can feel the power in the motor from going uphill. I had a one month old segway F30 which was a reputable scooter but it broke within a month of use. This scooter is a comparable to the segway F30 because they are the same price. You get a longer battery life, higher speed, and honestly its just so much better with the built in lock! I would recommend this scooter to anybody that needs a solid built first scooter.

Overall, I ordered a G6 not a G6 commute but they’re technically the same scooter so I really didn’t care the motor 500 W is very powerful with the 20 mph rating. This scooter is OK still not as powerful as the max too, but I raced it with the max G2 and it was able to keep up with the max G2, but it still didn’t beat it but it’s OK. I like the scooter.
