The model comes in the manufacturer’s original unopened packaging and includes a plastic display showcase for protection. Pad-printed markings and placards ensure long-lasting detail that won’t fade or peel, while realistic panel lines, antennas, access panels, and surface features offer an authentic representation of the real vehicle. The Sd.Kfz. 138/2 Jagdpanzer 38 "Hetzer" was a light tank destroyer used by the German Army during the latter part of World War II, with early production versions designed to be cost-effective and efficient. Armed with the 75mm Pak 39 L/48 gun and featuring a low profile, these vehicles were highly maneuverable and ideal for ambush tactics. Early production Hetzers, including those assigned to StuG.Abt 1708, saw service in France in 1944 during the Normandy Invasion, engaging Allied tanks and infantry while taking advantage of dense terrain for cover. Despite their effectiveness against lighter vehicles, they struggled against heavier Allied tanks, and mechanical failures and supply shortages reduced their operational numbers as the Germans retreated. This 1:72 scale model captures the rugged, battle-worn exterior and distinctive early production features of the Hetzer, offering collectors and military history enthusiasts a highly detailed and historically accurate representation of one of Germany’s innovative tank destroyers during the intense fighting in France in 1944.

This is a brand new 1/43 scale diecast model of the German Sd. Jagdpanther Tank Destroyer #113 "Schwere Panzer Abteilung 507, Germany, 1945" by AFVs of WWII. The model comes in its brand new box and features a detailed exterior with true-to-scale detail. It is an officially licensed product and comes in a plastic display showcase. Made of diecast metal with some plastic parts, the model does not have any openings and arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging. It measures approximately 9.5" in length, 3.25" in width, and 2.75" in height. The Jagdpanther was a tank destroyer based on the Panther chassis and armed with the 88mm L/71 gun. Proposed in October 1942, with a prototype inspected by Hitler fourteen months later, a total of 392 were produced by March 1945. By eliminating the turret and adding a fixed superstructure, the vehicle could mount the larger 88mm gun, while its sloped armor contributed to a sleek and effective design. Limited gun traverse required the driver to maneuver the entire vehicle, occasionally causing final drive gear failures, but once resolved, the Jagdpanther proved a formidable weapon. In well-chosen ambush positions, such as those represented by the camouflage on the model, it could destroy multiple opponents before being discovered. Initially issued to anti-tank battalions, the Jagdpanther later saw use in tank units that generally preferred turreted vehicles.
