Q: Does it clean carpet and hardwood
A: Hey I ordered the vacuum because I have hardwood floors.. do your self a favor and get a different one.. it scratched my beautiful floors up and it does not suck up very good.. the only thing that I found useful for is the couch cushions it does move my cat hair into a ball for me to pick up..it doesn't suck cat hair up .. and if it does get dirt off the floor it throws it back 0ut ..

Q: how come my hoover impulse shuts off every 10 seconds it wont run full time
A: Have you tried pressing twice on the trigger to have a continuous suction?
A: Check the charger with a volt meter (DC volts) to make sure your getting 26.5 volt. Your charger may not be working. If the voltage is good, you may have an internal issue with the battery or the electronics.
A: Hi! I do not have a solution, but wondering if you found one? I am having the same issue with mine. The vacuum is less than a month old and I've used it only a handful of times.

A: Call Hoover ask if you can send it in for repairs or buy a new one— Shark brand are much more powerful and little bit easier to manage and they have a replaceable rechargeable battery
