Q: Does this model work with hard floors as well or just carpet?
A: Hi, the Hoover WindTunnel 2 Rewind Pet Bagless Upright Vacuum comes with a carpet height adjustment feature. If you'd like to use this vacuum on hard floors we recommend changing the carpet height setting to "Hard Floor". You can use the "LOW" setting for all types of carpet and for very deep pile carpet you can use the higher settings. Thanks!
Q: How do you clean out the beater bar tunnel that goes to the collector
A: Thank you for your question! The steps with pictures on how to clean the brush roll are available on page eleven of your user manual and here is also a quick step by step on how to do it: First, make sure your vacuum is powered off and unplugged. Lay the vacuum down in a horizontal position with the nozzle (underside) facing down. Remove the 4 screws on the nozzle lid, then pivot off the nozzle cover (it will stay attached to the end of the vacuum and open like a door on a hinge). From there you have access to your brush roll for maintenance and cleaning. When finished, close the nozzle cover and tighten the 4 screws back into place. Thanks, Joseph - The Hoover Team
Q: I have a shag rug with 1.3 pile. Will this work easily on it?
A: Yes! The Hoover WindTunnel 2 Rewind Pet Upright Vacuum has a carpet height adjustment feature to help you customize your clean. To adjust the height setting, turn the knob to the desired height setting. For maximum cleaning performance, the following carpet height settings are recommended: use the "Hard Floor" setting for all types of carpet and for bare floors. Use the higher settings for very deep pile carpet and where easier pushing effort is desired but while maintaining good cleaning performance.
