A: Yes it has Bluetooth but the sound is awful, I don’t recommend this
Q: Why does this go off on its own?
A: I had a Vizio sound bar that did the exact same thing. If no sound goes through the sound bar after a period of time, it shuts down. Computers do the same thing. Not a big deal. I guess the idea is to prolong the life of the sound bar.
