Q: How do I silence the sound when I turn on the tv. It says "HDMI" very loudly.
A: The manual says to press the mute button at least 8 seconds to disable the voice prompts. Hope this helps
Q: is this compatible with an Oticon Real hearing aid?
A: No soundbar connects to hearing aids. I have had Phonak and Oticon hearing aids and you need to buy their own dedicated TV accessory.

Better than expected
I bought the 2.1 soundbar with the insignia 55 qled and turned my little apartment into a theater. I love the night mode for after hours viewing so i don’t disturb my neighbors. Did not think that the small sub would rumble like it does and the soundbar is surprisingly clear.
