Insignia Pressure Cooker Product Recall. Nothing is more important than our customers’ safety, which is why Best Buy has voluntarily recalled certain models of Insignia pressure cookers and inner cooker pots in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada. The recalled pressure cookers have incorrect volume markings on the inner pot. This can cause consumers to overfill the pot and hot food and liquids to be ejected when the pressure cooker is vented using the quick release method or opened while its contents are pressurized, posing a burn hazard to consumers. Learn more and register for the voluntary recall at https://www.recallrtr.com/pc.
A: I confirmed that my Instant Pot 6Qt stainless inner pot is interchangeable with this Insignia inner pot. They are about the same thickness/weight. I actually like the Insignia better than the stock Instant Pot because the Insignia has markings for each cup. The Instant Pot only has 1/2 and 2/3 markings. That doesn't make it easy when making rice.
A: Amazing addition to our pressure cooker. Everyone who owns one of these pressure cookers should and must buy at least two stainless steel inner pot. Teflon coats wear off in due course of time and you may not use the pot anymore. (Talking my own experience). You can boldly and happily can use and reuse stainless steel. Manufacture should eliminate Teflon and replace it with Stainless steel.
Q: Will this work in a Cuisinart pressure cooker 6 quart?
A: Per the box Yes
Q: Will this work with the Crock Pot Express Crock?
A: No this does not work. We did the water test and it failed using with Crockpot Brand.
Q: Will this work for a replacement pot for a 6 qt Bella Pressure Cooker?
A: Yes, this stainless steel pot fits and works in the Bella Pro series 6quart multicooker. It has the same size. It has a nice finish and seems to be of good quality.
Q: Will this fit in a 6 qt aroma rice cooker?
A: This pot is for the model NS-MC60SS9
A: It is uncoated stainless steel. I too am getting rid of all my Teflon products. All though the Teflon pot that comes with my unit would be ok for soup or beans I would not use it to saute meats.
Q: Does this pot have a highly polished smooth inner surface like the Instant Pot brand?
A: Yes it does! Very good quality!
