Q: I am installing this unit but would like to know if the cutout dimensions given are accurate to use ? Can anyone help me confirm ?

A: The cutout dimensions are: Cut-Out Front to Back Depth (in.) 21.06 Cut-Out Left to Right Width (in.) 34.56.

Q: Does this burner boil quickly?

A: Yes, we are very impressed with how fast this cooktop heats up. I spent "hours" researching cooktops before we made this purchase. These are too expensive just to pick the first one you see. I would buy it again if I ever needed to.

Q: This is a 36” range, but the description shows a 30” unit. What are the actual dimensions of the 36?

A: 30” has 4 stainless knobs, 4 burners… 36” has 6, one for the fan (downdraft) and 5 burners.

Q: We are replacing a Jenn Air downdraft cooktop Model R201. Can we use existing vent pipe which attaches under the cooktop with the KitchenAid downdraft cooktop?

A: DeeB, we cannot recommend using previous ventilation systems with a new Cooktop. Hopefully, this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our KitchenAid Appliances!

Q: Does this cooktop require 240 volts or 120 volts?

A: Hello, per the installation Instructions, https://shorturl.at/I3L5l, A 4-wire or 3-wire, single-phase, 120/240 V, 60 Hz, AC only electrical supply on a separate, 40 A circuit breaker is required for both 30" (76.2 cm) and 36" (91.4 cm) models. If a fused system is used, fuse both sides of the line. Thank you for your inquiry about our KitchenAid appliances.

Q: This is an awesome cooktop. We had the older model and it cracked so we replaced it with this one - a definite upgrade. Only issue is that the fan turns off while we are cooking. Wondering why this is happening? Didn't happen with previous model.

A: Hello ssmartinez55! We are terribly sorry to hear about your concern. We would recommend contacting KitchenAid® at 1(800)422-1230. We are available M - F 8 am to 6 pm est. They will be better able to assist you.
