This brand new 1/72 scale plastic model kit of the Bristol 192 Belvedere Helicopter with 2 scheme options by Airfix comes in the manufacturer’s original unopened box with vintage style packaging. The kit contains 50 detailed parts molded in light gray and includes decals to design the helicopter in two different schemes. Paint and cement are required but not included, and the model does not come with a display stand. Dimensions are approximately L-15.125 inches and W-8.125 inches when assembled. The Bristol 192 Belvedere was a British twin-engine, tandem rotor helicopter designed by the Bristol Aeroplane Company, entering service in the early 1960s as the RAF’s first twin-rotor helicopter. Initially developed for the Royal Navy, it was later adapted for tactical transport, capable of carrying up to 19 fully equipped troops or various cargo loads, including artillery and vehicles. The Belvedere saw action during the Indonesian Confrontation in the mid-1960s and in Aden, providing troop transport, supply runs, and casualty evacuation in challenging terrains.
