Q: Does the "bake" drawer have "browning" or broil capabilities?
A: the oven tray comes with preset heating choices for baking...425,400, 375, 350 degree settings, and then you set the time.....that simple I cooked two steaks, but covered with aluminum foil. You dont want to use the oven like a broiler. You dont want splattering to occur in the oven. Today, I put sliced onion and peppers, and squash and cooked in foil while my herb rice was cooking in the rice cooker and I purchased an already cooked rotisserie chicken,,,and wa lla....a meal I like to bake a few cookies at a time...so they are always fresh and hot and they brown nicely in the LG oven I make a lot of pita bread pizzas in the oven for quick lunches. This oven has not been disappointing in the slightest. The microwave is excellent...I dont cook in microwaves, just use it to heat my coffee and occasionally reheat leftovers.

Q: How many inches clearance from walls and top cabinets?
A: Thank you for your inquiry. The LG - 1.1 Cu. Ft. Mid-Size Microwave, Model # LCSP1110ST is designed as a Counter top microwave so placing it in a microwave cubby is different and there aren't really any recommended clearances for that situation. Since the unit is designed as a counter top model, it is probably safe to assume that the sides do not get exceptionally hot (Safety concerns!) so having an inch clearance around the unit for airflow may suffice. Q: Oven Temps?
A: Oven temps are from 350, 375, 425 and 450, with suggestions of foods at that temperature. No need to preheat which is really handy. I do preheat for about 5-10 minutes to bake pre-made cookie dough. I don't have the measurement handy but you can do a model search and get them. We love this appliance.
Q: Is the pizza oven a convection type?
A: I believe that it is convection. I do hear the fans on while things are cooking. It's nice because forwhen you are finished using the oven, the fans also come on to cool it quickly. Keep in mind the oven is only maybe 3 inches deep. It is only for things like pizza, cookies, etc. See my overall review for all that we have used it for.
