A: No. You have to by the kit to stack it. But if you do not buy the kit, you can just place it side by side. They is how they installed mine for me and everything is wonderful. I got stackable so i could stack it one day if I moved.

Wonderful upgrade
Wonderful dryer, it is very large capacity but still fits in the w/d space very well. I was hesitant at first to get a 9cu Ft. But it fit with no issues at all, I love the features of steam and being able to sanitize and prevent wrinkles.

I love this dryer
I love my dryer. I got my dryer open box and it works perfectly. I love the way the steam makes your clothes feel without dryer sheets or fabric softener. I would definitely recommend this dryer if u can find it. It was a 2 month wait until i got this one. The large capacity is the best especially to accompany the 5.4 washing machine u will need a dryer this size. Get you one, you wont regret it. Oh, make sure u have enough room for it to fit in your wash area, it is large 30 inches. I also bought the pedestal which is hard to find as well. Lg has a great product. The AI is also amazing.
