MartinLogan - Motion XT Series CI, Pre-Installation Bracket for XTW5-LCR - Black/Silver

Pre-installation brackets are a great way to reserve the location of the speaker during the construction of your home so that potential obstructions don’t become an obstacle once the drywall is installed. These brackets also serve as a helpful guide to cut the required speaker opening once the drywall is in place.  Please note that pre-installation brackets are not required to install in-ceiling or in-wall speakers, they merely serve as a helpful planning tool and guide for cutting the wall surface.

The smaller of the two “LCR” models in the Motion XT CI series, the XTW5-LCR functions equally well as a center, front or surround channel, or anywhere higher performance, higher output capability and/or a more rectangular shape is desired. A perfect complement for a flat panel TV or projector screen; the XTW5-LCR allows for flexible placement and incredible performance. Its FMT XT tweeter can be rotated to help create the sound dispersion that works best for your space. The MartinLogan Motion XT CI series takes performance to the next level over Motion CI. The Folded Motion XT tweeter gives each model in the Motion XT series even more of the clarity, output, and efficiency that the standard size FMT is famous for. All Motion XT models feature woven Kevlar woofers for increased rigidity and lightness which translates into better sound. In addition to the larger tweeter, and lighter, stronger woofers, MartinLogan’s design and engineering team has fitted the Motion XT series with a more substantial chassis to strengthen the speaker and provide a more accurate sound, like a better cabinet on a traditional speaker.
