By far the most popular size for in-ceiling speakers, the MC6 features a 6.5” woofer with higher power handling, greater output capability, and improved bass response over the smaller MC4. This model works without a built-in enclosure to allow the speaker to use more airspace for higher performance. For applications where sound control is desired, an optional retrofittable back enclosure is available separately. As with all Motion series CI speakers, the MC6 uses MartinLogan’s signature Folded Motion Tweeter for precise clarity and incredible realism to meet all your entertainment needs. The “HT” version of the XTC8 features a fixed angle mounting of the tweeter and woofer in order to provide a massive improvement in performance for listeners who are farther away. This is the perfect choice for when a speaker must be mounted apart from where the listener will be standing, walking or sitting, like in a home theater. The same holds true in whole house music systems where speakers can be located farther away from where the listener spends most of their time.
