Q: Can the doors be switched to open either right or left?
A: Yes, the doors opening sides can be switched. This happened to me. I originally ordered it left side hinge, but it came in right side hinge (which is I think the default side). When it came they were able to switch the doors. But you can order it left side from my understanding. Make sure they covered all the holes correctly if they changed sides, because I had to point things out to the delivery guy to make him fix it. I was told they were supposed to switch the hinges in the warehouse BEFORE the delivery guys took it to my home. They failed to do this, making the delivery men do the switch. I think if it was done in the warehouse with people more familiar with switching hinge sides, it would have gone smoother. There may even be a door hinge kit that they can use to make sure they have all the right pieces to switch opening side.

Worked for our size limitations
Overall a nice fridge and we were happy to find out that the side is grey and not black like the website made it seem it would be. We had very limited options due to our built-in cabinets and the listed measurements of the fridge were correct. It’s very spacious inside and it looks nice. It wasn’t too hard to flip the doors after it was delivered. The only negatives we’ve experienced are that it’s louder than our last fridge, the top corners of the door are really sharp so we had to put stick-on plastic bumpers on the corners, and it has terrific suction and requires a really hard tug to open it sometimes.

Designed for a woman..
This is a beautifully designed refrigerator. The amount of room for storing food is beyond expectation. The shelf width cold cut bin doesn't interfere with the shelf space below, and that's a huge plus. The freezer space will hold an abundant of food which will save money in the long run. The temperature controls after 24 hours cooled and froze hard the contents inside. After three days of owning this refrigerator, I can say I made a good choice, but four stars is what I'm willing to give at this time.

Good fridge. Best Buy needs to step up its game.
On the plus side it looks neat and does its job well. Very quiet and has even temperature in both sections and good lighting. Nice large deli drawer. On the down side the lower drawers are small and the door compartments in fridge are tight. The largest one holds just a juice box and half gal milk and the others hold only small items. Also because of full width deli drawer can't stand up wine bottles on lower shelf. However it was one of the few refrigerators that fit into the space allowed by our 50s kitchen without jutting out, had a freezer light and the price was reasonable. We had a problem immediately and Best Buy was not helpful until I dug in my heels. Fridge door grinds when opening. Freezer door is fine. Believe hinge was damaged - possibly a delivery issue. Wanted me to deal with manufacturer. BB are now replacing fridge. Beware their extended 3 yr warranty - it's only 2 years as it starts from delivery, although Maytag gives you I yr coverage with your purchase.
