Q: how long do you charge the unit for
A: You never wanna over charge any device over an hour! Charge for 30 mins and turn the wine opener upside down to avoid over charging!
A: it requires more force to pull the cork out of the bottle therefore causing more strain onthe motor, which makes it seem like the battery is dying.
Q: Is the wine opener black coating the type that gets "sticky" after repeated uses.
A: I don’t think this is the same as you are talking about. I have a rabbit cork opener and that gets sticky after repeated use. I believe this will not get as sticky
Q: Does the aerator have a screen? Is the aerator inserted into the bottle to pour the wine through it?
A: The aerator does not have a screen. It is more like a pourer that will insert into the bottle and aerate as it pours into a glass.
Q: doeas this remove artificial corks?
A: Yes it does
Q: Will this uncork champagne bottles as well?
A: No. You do not use an opener for champagne.
