The IXS12.2D is a 12" car subwoofer from the DS18 IXS series. It handles 800 watts RMS and uses dual voice coils at 2 ohms per coil, so you can wire multiple subwoofers to the final impedance your amplifier is stable at. Peak power handling is 1600 watts. The cone is fiber glass. The shallow-mount basket fits tight spaces and under-seat enclosures where a standard-depth subwoofer will not clear.
