Q: Does this dash cam have a parking mode? If so, does it need to be hardwired?
A: Hi Andrew, Yes. This model has parking mode. It will automatically switch to motion -activated only when your parking mode is on. This will save you memory space as well as power consumption. However, you still need to provide power source to the dash camera. As for hardwire option, It depends on the car model and make to see if you need to have the dash cam hardwired. Some car's 12 Volt provides power all the time and some doesn't. If your car doesn't , then you would need to hard wire this dash cam or use a external batter pack to power on the dash cam. Hope it's clear. PAPAGO Service.
A: My 2013 nissan pathfinder has extra 3-4 feet extra after i installed the rear camera. so i assume a suburban would be fine. I used to drive a 97 suburban. If u wire it to view out the back window it will not record inside passengers. It does record inside audio.
A: Hi rapple135, You can turn off the Driving Safely features after hitting the down arrow key on the recording screen -> then scroll down until you see "Driving Safely" highlighted in yellow then push the OK button to select this option -> in the next menu you will be able to pick and choose, if not turn off all of these alerts. A: It has a few display options. You can see what the forward facing camera sees, or the rear view camera, a mix of both where the front view takes up must of the screen and a small corner shows the rear camera view or off (no display). Since I got it for my dad I don’t remember exactly which button changes the view but since it doesn’t have that many buttons you’d find it really quickly.
Q: How long is the cable to the rear camera? I have a 4 door pickup and 6 ft isnt going to work.
A: Hi Jerry, The cable on the GSS810 is about 70 inches long. If this is not enough length, I recommend looking into purchasing the GSS780 dashcam instead, this model comes with a 270 inch long cable. A: So far, I have not experienced my car battery drained on me since installed about two weeks ago.
Q: What the max sd card it will support?
A: It's support to 128GB max.
A: Hi MrsEva, There is no power button on the GoSafe S810, this model dashcam turns on and off with your vehicle. I apologize for the confusion there. Thank you for your interest in Papago! dashcams, if you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to reach us at [email protected].
