• So far, I have not experienced my car battery drained on me since installed about two weeks ago.

• Hi Foxtrotter98, The dashcam turns on and off with your vehicle unless it is hardwired to your vehicle. If this is the case, I recommend not leaving your car more than 2 days without turning it on.
