Couldn’t be happier!
Great speaker. Very well built. Sounds good no matter the genre or recording quality. Couldn’t be happier.

Look, Feel, and Sound worth the cost
I have been a Polk fan for as long as I can remember. These were an upgrade to a very long running pair of Polk Monitor 60 Series II, replaced in the Front L/R positions. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the M60's, I just wanted to upgrade and see if Polk could improve upon a sound that was still excellent after many years. Polk managed to do it. Starting from just the unboxing experience it was like no other. The boxes are top quality and look sleek, overpacked to the perfect degree, down to the speakers that were wrapped in a black cloth bag, sealed at the bottom with a heart sticker. The design is aesthetically pleasing, and cabinets feel study and well designed. Magnetic grills are a lovely touch with the perfect amount of gripping force. The woofer and tweeter are works of art. These things are all easy to improve on, but how about the sound? These Reserve speakers fit right into a classic Monitor series set like they are right at home. The timbre matching was perfect. Ran a few tests, and the tone of the Reserve speakers sounded identical to the Monitor Series II. They operate quite well on my old Onkyo TX-NR787. Feels like they can drive louder than the Monitors. The Monitors have 5.25” woofers so the R600 upgraded the fronts to 6.5” woofers. Although 1 less driver, there was an obvious improvement in low end bass and sound quality. I was pondering going with the next line up that had 8” woofers but was concerned about power handling on my Onkyo. I’m glad that I went with the R600’s. The 6.5” woofers are doing an impressive job of filling in the space that the LFE wasn’t present for in movies. The Pinnacle Ring tweeters speak for themselves, and present a new richness and range in the highs that are an obvious improvement over the Monitor Series II. I recommend the Reserve series if you are looking for a premium line that is still fairly reasonable on pricing.

They met all my requirements.
These speakers met all my requirements. The Reserve Series delivered very good quality and great sound for a reasonable price. I wanted floor standing speakers whose size would not overpower our room.
