A: Hi HOSS! Indeed the V5 does have the Parking Monitor feature. We also have two different hardwire kits you can use along with it to unlock the feature. Smart Hardwire Kit ( Senses for hard Vibration to turn on the camera and record ) or our new Intelligent Hardwire Kit ( Uses Motion Sensing )
A: It requires cables for power. Either a cable that plugs into your cigarette lighter socket, or hardwired to the car. Mine is the latter and it starts recording as soon as a door is opened and it stops after a few minutes from the engine shutting off if I just sit in the car, or a few seconds after I exit the car. You need to download their app in order to pair your phone with the camera and watch and download the videos Wirelessly.
Q: Can the mounting arm be adjusted to accommodate different windshield angles?
A: The mount is fixed but the lens has a little bit of adjustment. I have one on both my Cobalt and my Silverado and it works just fine.
