Q: Will this device detect marijuana smoke?
A: it is not a smoke detector its an alarm detector to tell you the smoke detector is going off

This Ring Alarm Smoke & CO Listener does, however, require a Ring Alarm system to be installed on your property in order to function. This is because the Alarm Smoke & CO Listener is an accessory to the Ring Alarm system, not the system itself. We do offer an optional subscription service known as Ring Protect. Q: Do these sensors expire like smoke detectors? Do you have to replace them every 10 years?
A: I doubt it. Smoke detection components have a service life. This is a listening device. It's a microphone, a microprocessor and a ZigBee radio. All it does is listen for the sound of your smoke alarm so it can notify your Ring alarm system.
