The ALR properties help preserve contrast and color performance that would otherwise be affected by ambient light in the room, ensuring stunning and vibrant images. Slate is an optically based material which allows it to reject up to 70% of ambient light. The screen optics are designed to only allow light from the direction of the projector. Allowing a quality projection experience outside of the dedicated dark room by rejecting ambient light that would normally tarnish color and contrast performance with a white or gray screen.
