A: No unfortunately it inst removable. I found a squirt bottle set on stream spray helps get all the hair out of the little basket easier.
Q: How long does it take to dry?
A: If you set it to the "dry only" feature it will stop spraying cleaning fluid and only extracts water from the carpet. You can see the water it is extracting so you can keep going over the spot until it's no longer pulling up liquid. After that it should be fully dry in a few hours.
Q: Does this have any self clean options?
A: Yes, this unit includes the Rinse & Go function, which allows you to clean the interior hose and compatible hand tools using a built-in self-cleaning feature. To activate it, insert the tip of the hand tool into the Rinse & Go groove on top of the CarpetXpert tank and press down on the button. This will suction cleaning solution through the hose and attachments for a thorough rinse.
