A: No, the Matrix Self-Empty Robot doesn’t need an internet connection to work. We include a Clean button on the robot and base that lets you start a full‑home cleaning cycle without Wi‑Fi.

The RV2310AE only works with a 2.4 GHz network, so if your router is currently on 5 GHz, it won’t connect. Q: how well does it get corners and pet hair
A: It gets the corners so-so. I touch up the corners with my stick vac. But I let this vacuum almost everyday, which is way more than I would vacuum myself manually LOL

Sharkira - you need one.
We've had a Roomba for years and recently upgraded to the Shark Matrix, which we affectionately named Sharkira. And Sharkira is awesome! First time cleaning took about 90 minutes - about 1000 sq ft on the first floor of our condo. Living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom. Sharkira gets more and more efficient each cleaning and has settled into about an hour after learning the area. And we have a schedule so we just set it, and forget it. I'm getting another one to put in the basement.
