    My favorite portable speaker

    The Sonos Roam is consistently the best portable speaker of this size. Things I love: - it incorporates with my whole home sonos speaker system well (this is not a requirement for me but it's nice that I can carry it around inside/outside immersed in the same music as I'm playing around the house) - It's the best sound quality I've experienced for a speaker of this size - It is very loud with surprisingly impactful bass and clarity through the range The app is not as bad as it's painted to be online imo. Could they make some simple flow changes to make things easier to get to? Sure. Once you remember how to get around, it's not bad. It can also be hard to navigate getting the speaker to go between wifi/bluetooth modes. I use this speaker in doors and out doors and it feels sturdy but I wouldn't say it's rugged. After market cases solve for this easily though but do add a bit of bulk. I use my Roam 2 as a bluetooth receiver for my record player and I am able to use that to broadcast music from my record player all over my house which is... pretty sweet if you ask me.

    Sonos portable speaker

    The sound is great especially for how compact the speaker is and it makes it easy to bring with you on your travels. In addition, I love how easy it connects with my current outdoor Sonos speakers and allows me to bring up to pool deck or inside home while continuing to playing same music.
