    Should be included but worth the upgrade

    This GPS antenna is sold as an accessory for the Thinkware car dashcam system. Personal opinion as that it really should be part of the system itself. That being said it was worth getting. The antennna is well made and designed to plug right into the dash cam head unit. It has adhesive that is of a good quality and seems to be made well. The functions that it enables on the Thinkware system are worth it. They include a speed log and a verbal warning for things like speed cameras.

    Yeasu FTX-1

    Not using it for what it was designed for .But for anyone interested it works plug and play on my Yeasu FTX-1 . As a GPS reciever and is about half the price .

    Good little accessory.

    The GPS antenna for the Thinkware dashcams works! It very accurately reads my car's speed using GPS, and reflects exactly the same speed as my OBD-II HUD readout and speedometer.
