Q: Can you surf the internet via the smart capabilities?
A: No you are unable to just surf the web. You can only use the TV apps that are predownloaded on the TV system.
Q: what is heigjht of the tv with and without stand?
A: It's about 13 1/2 inches without the stand. Approximately 15 inches with.
A: This TV only supports wireless 802.11b /g /n. If your router is far away, or your router only supports 802.11a (very old router), then the builtin wireless on this TV is not for you . . . however in those two cases, relocate your router, buy a new(er) router, or run ethernet wire.
Q: can you use this tv as a computer monitor
A: yes. I bought this to use as a monitor and it is excellent. Great picture quality for computer screens
A: If it does I have not found it either. I'm constantly changing the volume.
A: If the wireless headphone base uses a standard 3.5mm stereo cable to connect to the sound source, you are good to go. There is no Bluetooth connection.
Q: how is the overall sound quality?
A: I think the sound is great! I turn it way up when listening to music, but I don't think it could handle being turned way up if there is a lot of bass.
A: Connect to the headphone output. Go to menu and sounds and make sure headphones is enabled
