A: The correct breaker should be 50A, but a 40A breaker could also be used if the EV charge is set to a lower amperage (I.e.: 35A, 30A - depending on the vehicle available settings). The point is that the breaker should not be subject to pass a current around its maximum limit for long periods (as charging an EV will normally take hours and that will surely cause overheating of the breaker). Safety first!
A: Companies often have vendors change the part number slightly, to frustrate price matching policies. The "5" indicates the connected 40A amp version, a "6" would indicate the hardwire ready version. You can hard wire either one (hardwiring is recommended for most cases). The PUP1 is the older model, the PUP2 is newer, but they function similarly for residential use. See the attached part number guide uploaded as an image. Great Product
Great product so far. Completely intuitive. It automatically picked the correct voltage for my 2021 prius and now i get wireless feedback from the charger. I know how many AH and how much i spent on it etc!

Wallbox EV charger
I was glad to find this EV charger in stock at my local BestBuy. It is extremely hard to find any kind of charger in store anywhere. This is a highly rated, well extremely well built device. The cord is of very good quality, and the charger has a very solid, quality feel to it. The app is really simple to use and being a plug in unit, installation was a breeze once you get the appropriate plug installed at your location. Very small in size but extremely capable. I loved that you could internally set the maximum power going into the unit to prevent overloading your circuit. After that you can use the app for scheduling, charge times, and amps output. It is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Overall very satisfied with my purchase.

Solid and well regarded charger
The Wallbox chargers work well. There's an app, but you don't need to use it. You can set it for different power levels. You can replace the plug cord or the charger cord if they are ever damaged. And you can do power limiting. And it meets energy saving standards when used without a GFCI (e.g. wired directly to your home). Good. Weaknesss include a relatively poor strain relief on the charger cord (tighten it up yourself). See r/evcharging on Reddit for installation advice appropriate to your system, be prepared to take and post pictures.
