The multi-bay My Cloud family of devices offers the RAID roaming functionality that allows the option to replace, move, or swap hard disks from one My Cloud to another My Cloud device without data loss. The drives can be swapped from one device to another due to many reasons: Hardware issues on the device, upgrading to a new device or expanding capacity.
