Great buy!
Remodeling a kitchen and using this with my gas cooktop in an island. This downdraft is perfect for our needs. A click of a button and it pops up to do its thing. When not in use, it sits hidden in the island. Perhaps the best bonus is that the motor is reversible so it can be installed so you get full storage under your cooktop.

Works well, tall when open
When the unit opens, tall and the fan has 3 speeds, but the fan on high is a little loud
