As with all new cooktops, the grates are clumsy, heavy, and irritating. Hard to clean. Every manufacturer makes them the same way. Only two burners have any decent heat; the rest are too small. This is the same cheap trick done by all other manufacturers. Cooktops from the 1960s were better. But no one makes them any more. This one is solidly made; good knobs; solid metal; nice looking. but the design is crap. But that’s all you can buy now
