Q: is it quiet when running?i did not see ultra quiet option,thks.
A: It is quieter than I imagined but we can still hear it. The noise level doesn’t interfere with watching TV or having a conversation.
Q: Do it require additional mounting bracket for the outside?
A: We had the Geek Squad do the install. It was a replacement unit that did have a bracket before. The new ac came with a "cage"the mounts first and the unit slides into that. We left the old bracket shelf like remain as extra support.
