Xerox - XD-Combo 600dpi /Gray/Black USB 2.0 Scanner w/ ADF - Color

Yes. Based on the product specifications, the Xerox XD-COMBO is designed to scan photos as well as documents and supports: Color scanning (24-bit color) Grayscale scanning (8-bit) Black-and-white scanning (1-bit) 600 dpi optical resolution for capturing detail [xeroxscanners.com], [dell.com] The scanner's flatbed is specifically described as being suitable for photos, ID cards, passports, books, magazines, and other delicate items, making it a better choice for older photographs than feeding them through the ADF. [manuals.plus], [amazon.com], [xeroxscanners.com] For old black-and-white photos, you can scan in grayscale or color, depending on whether you want to preserve the original tones or perform photo restoration later. For faded color photos, scanning in color at the highest resolution available will typically give the best results for archiving and enhancement. A practical tip: use the flatbed glass rather than the document feeder for old or fragile pictures to avoid damage and get the best image quality.
