xTool - F2 5W IR & 15W Diode Portable Dual Laser Engraver

I’ve been using 3D printers for a few years and wanted to try laser engraving, so I picked this up. It’s been a really solid addition to my setup. If you’re used to dialing things in, this is pretty easy to get into. The software is different from slicers, but it didn’t take long to figure out, and I was getting good results on wood and leather pretty quickly. One of the biggest differences is speed. It’s nice being able to go from an idea to something finished in minutes instead of waiting hours like with prints. The size is also a big plus. It doesn’t take up much space, so it fits well alongside other gear without needing a dedicated setup. I’ve mostly been using it for smaller projects and personalized items, but it’s easy to see how it could be used for a small side business as well. Easter swag for friends and I can't wait to engrave some cool things for Halloween! For indoor use, just make sure you have a basic ventilation setup or filtration, which is pretty standard for this type of machine. Overall, if you’re already into 3D printing or making things, this feels like a natural way to expand what you can do.

Great product but as i became more familiar I realized I needed more capacity so opted for the larger UV option

If you spend some time and get to know the laser it can do anything you want it to do.
