De LA is one of the best legendary hip-hop groups
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Originally from L.I., I knew this group is something special. De La Soul gives a whole perspective on how hip-hop(especially pop-hop) is one-sided. Southern rap, pretty much took over since 2000. All other artists how are not on the pop charts are considered underground. De La redefined what innovation and creative can be. This CD gives you an assortment of the early-years when they were considered "The Hippies of Rap."
