yes, I'm impressed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For my first Tv and for being a brand that is not popular or a brand i never have heard of its pretty good. This Tv has 2 hdmi and VGA inputs. Wish it would of had DVI to but I can live with that. !080 p at 60 Hz. i didn't notice a difference. The only think that i didn't like about the tv is when I tried to use it as a monitor for my windows destop using HDMI cable the aspect ratio was a little off the only way i could get it to match the window interface perfect onto the tv was by setting the video mode thing to game, instead of having something like cinema or custom. By having it changing it to cinema or zoom had very little effect on it, unless you have it set to regular t.v then you can see the difference. This t.v ill say i got a good bang for my bucks. have had it for about 2 months without any problems.

Great bang for you bucks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is not my first Insignia TV but this is my first review on their TV. I have to say that this is an awesome TV. The pictures are sharp, the color is bright and vivid and it's very light weight. It's roku ready but I haven't tried that out yet. I normally just hook a pc up if I want to watch some online contents. The speakers is a little weak but I can turn it up to 60 and it'll be plenty loud. It has enough HDMI ports for bedroom use. 1080p and 60Hz is perfectly fine for normally view and some light action movie. I haven't watch anything with a lot of action but I'm assuming it'll be like any LED/LCD TV with a 60Hz refresh rate. I'm use to buying brand name stuff like LG, Samsung, etc but after seeing this in person, I was blown away. For $200 bucks, it's not a bad deal at all. I would highly check this tv out before you purchase some more expensive ones.

Great TV for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this television as a screen for a Chromecast and a Raspberry Pi 2. I selected it because the resolution/screen size to cost ratio was favorable and didn't expect much from it. I was pleasantly surprised, though, especially with the sound. Because of the use I never intended to purchase an amplifier/external speakers and was prepared for the exceptionally tinny sound of our other televisions, but this one actually produces listenable sound. The screen itself is not great, but not bad at all. Occasionally it appears a little washed out and seems to have a low contrast ratio, but I haven't spent any time attempting to optimize the settings, so this might just be an issue with the default settings. The Raspberry Pi works well with it, though it requires a little calibration to properly recognize the screen geometry. The Chromecast, on the other hand has worked flawlessly with no tinkering required.

Great Beginner TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never had a flat panel HD (non smart) TV before, so this was my beginner before I bought any other TV. I was glad I found this one at such a deal. Once I got it home, set up was easy and it was ready to be used. It's nice sized which is good for a bedroom or a small living room. The picture clarity is very clear and bright, much better than my old TV. Best of all, I can plug my laptop into the HDMI slot and watch videos and movies from it. Also if you have pictures on a flash drive, you can plug it into to TV to see them. Another option is whenever I want to make my TV "smart", I can always buy a Chromecast or some other streaming media stick to use with it.

Oustanding deal at a great price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old insignia had a great picture, but I wanted better definition than my Insigna 32" 720p, so I went with the 32" 1080p. I also didn't want to pay a lot. Despite what people say about not needing 1080p on a 32", it does look better. The TV itself is not a smart TV, but I was using a Roku 3, so I didn't need a smart TV. The TV itself is pretty user friendly, plus it is easy to download your owner's manual from the internet. It has 2 HDMI input jacks, a composite video jack, as well as a digital sound cable. Plus the outside TV border is smaller and more compact.

A Very Good Choice for Limited Space
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in a private bedroom in a board and care home where space is very limited. I needed a small television to serve as both a television and as a computer Monitor for my desktop tower. This television has it all at an affordable price. it has the 1080p hi-def and the HDMI input for my blu-ray player and the VGA input for my computer. It was easy to hook up to my analog cable tv, my blu-ray player, my ps-2 and my computer. the television has a feature where it automatically adjusts to the various screen resolutions for all of these devices. I'm really pleased with how clear the picture is especially when watching blu-ray movies. this 32" screen is the right size to fit on my small desk and it makes it easier for me to see image details with my compromised vision.

Q: QuestionInsignia 32" -1080.I do not see a Tech Spec section. I need to know the depth of the unit without the stand. Most of the HD TV's are too thin - the sound is lousy and it becomes necessary to purchase a sound bar.
Asked by Martha.
- A:Answer The depth itself is thin (5/8"). However the sound quality is beautiful. Watching music videos and concerts is like being there in person...no sound bar needed.

Q: QuestionCan I use Roku Box instead of Roku Stick?I already have a Roku Box; will I be able to use my on-hand Roku and HDMI cable with this TV or do I have to buy a Roku Stick?
Asked by BLP.
- A:Answer Yes, you can. The stick is just a space saver and works well with the build in MHL port and is a better integration, but your existing roku will work fine with it.

Q: QuestionUse it as PC monitor?Has anyone used this TV as a PC monitor via the HDMI port? Does the PC screen fit within the TV screen?
Asked by Kato.
- A:Answer I'm using the VGA input for my desktop computer. This television automatically adjusts to various screen resolutions or image sizes. My analog cable tv input is sensed as NTSC; the tv adjusts for that resolution. It also displays my computer images at full screen while adjusting for the various resolutions for the desktop display and the various games that I play. I'm sure that this television will automatically adjust for a full screen image if the resolution if your computer is adjusted properly. You do have some control over computer screen resolution or screen size accessible from the Control Panel on your computer. using either input should not change the size of what is displayed.
